Logistics Manager

Sabena Aerospace Engineering Charleroi, formerly Sabca, is a historical player in the Belgian aerospace industry. For more than 40 years, the company has been specialised in the maintenance, repair and upgrade of F-16 fighter jets for the Belgian, American and Dutch armies. Within the framework of its activities, the company is looking for a logistics manager to supervise the teams and improve the logistics processes.

Your responsibilities:

• You supervise the logistics team (stock management, warehouses, transport, customs service, internal logistics, etc.)
• You assign the various tasks to be carried out on a daily basis.
• You monitor your team on a daily basis and train the staff in good logistics practices.
• You participate in the modernisation of logistics processes.
• You participate in the execution of tasks with your team.
• You ensure an excellent level of service and communication to your customers.
• You are responsible for the compliance with internal safety rules and our processes.
• You implement KPIs and report regularly to the head of the Supply Chain department.

Your profile:

• You have at least a bachelor degree in logistics.
• You have proven experience in a management position in logistics.
• You have a patient and pedagogical mindset. You are keen to help your teams progress.
• You are rigorous in your work, highly organised and able to manage emergency situations.
• You have a good command of SAP software
• You are fluent in French and English. Knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
