Your responsibilities

As a logistics officer in the aviation industry your tasks always require punctuality and eye to detail.
Your responsibilities cover, but are not limited to:

  • Loading and unloading of aircraft engines
  • Incoming inspection of engines and their parts, both visually and administratively
  • Meticulous management of aircraft engine spare parts, both physical and administrative via specific software
  • Follow-up of the logistics administration: import/export
  • Maintenance of stocks and regular inventory
  • Issue and receipt, maintenance and follow-up of special tooling for aircraft engine interventions
  • Organisation of the worldwide transport of engines

Your profile

  • You preferably have a technical/administrative background, minimum level of higher secondary education or equivalent through proven experience
  • You have knowledge of MS Office and are particularly proficient in Excel and Outlook
  • You have knowledge of using an ERP system such as Amos, SAP, Trax, etc.
  • You can express yourself fluently in Dutch and English, French is a plus
  • You have a sense of organisation and work meticulously
  • You are dynamic, flexible and open to new things
  • You are in possession of a forklift driving licence
  • Knowledge of dangerous goods, transport and customs regulations is a plus
