Quality Administrator

Responsibilities

The Quality Administrator facilitates all SNAE Airframe Departments and the Quality Manager in relation to various issues of Quality & Compliance, i.e;

• Prove read and maintain all working and non-working processes such as the MOE, Maintenance Procedures, Instructions, Forms and Job descriptions within the Airframe BU
• Has to make sure that they are in compliance with EASA, the Quality System of Sabena Engineering, other legal regulations and in the predefined format;
• Prepares, adapt, and, if necessary, amend the existing quality procedures for use within the organization, and develops new ones;
• Advise the process owner on the evolution (e.g. updates) of all applicable regulations and other directives applicable to EASA Part 145, and give assistance to these persons;
• Inform the directly concerned persons about discrepancies observed, and assist to develop and implement appropriate solutions
• centralize and up-date the administration of the data, information’s and files pertinent to the Quality procedures and processes;
• cooperate with and help people for the implementation management and follow-up on all kind of relevant regulations for the Part 145;
• evaluate the needs in terms of qualitative necessary qualifications and additional training to be given to the concerned people, in close cooperation with the BU Managers;
• Monitor the Part 145 audit plan and help to prepare for audits as required
• Provide an interface on behalf of the BU organization with the Quality control
• Investigates or participates Investigation on any incident involving Maintenance.
• Suggest and define new developments of the Quality baselines,
• Provide active contribution to enhance current work and communication flow for Quality matters.
• Helps to develop and update the 3S/5S system in the production environment
• Maintains / helps to maintain the GEMBA boards in the different areas of the BU

Profile

• Diploma in a technical field of study or equivalent through experience
• Knowledge of aviation standards (PART 145, EASA regulations, etc…)
• Proven experience in an aircraft maintenance environment.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to adapt quickly to a fast changing environment
• Excellent communication skills, both with internal and external clients
• Fluent English speaking. Dutch and / or French are an asset.
• Willingness for occasional travel and as required for the tasks assigned
