Quality Incoming Inspector
The Quality Incoming Inspector is responsible for inspecting and verifying incoming aeronautical parts, materials, and components to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, regulatory standards, and company quality requirements. This role plays a critical part in maintaining airworthiness, safety, and traceability within the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform incoming inspection of aircraft parts, components, and raw materials.
· Verify conformity against:
o Engineering drawings and specifications
o Purchase orders and supplier documentation
o Regulatory and customer requirements (e.g., EASA / BMAA / AS standards)
· Review and validate certification documents (e.g., Certificates of Conformity, airworthiness certificates).
· Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using appropriate tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
· Identify, document, and report non-conformities.
· Initiate and manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and support corrective actions.
· Ensure full traceability of parts and documentation.
· Work closely with procurement, engineering, and supplier quality teams.
· Maintain inspection records in accordance with quality management systems.
· Support audits (internal, customer, and regulatory).
· Ensure compliance with company procedures and aviation regulations.
Required Qualifications
· Diploma or technical degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or related field.
· Minimum 1–3 years of experience in quality inspection, preferably in aerospace or aviation.
· Experience with inspection tools and measurement equipment.
· Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP) and quality modules.
· Knowledge of AS9100 quality management systems.
