Technical Buyer

Your Main responsibilities

• You will support the business to get the technical purchases delivered on time.
• You will interact with the customers in a professional way.
• You will build a network of suppliers to respond rapidly to the requests.
• You will be responsible from ordering to delivery and will take the appropriate actions to facilitate the payment process.
• You will take care to secure the minimum stock levels to run the business.
• You will respect the procurement process and the standard working methods in place.
• You will communicate proactively towards the business in case of potential issues in the delivery process.
• You will think out of the box to find rapidly alternatives.
• Multitasking will be part of your day to day and you will have to manage priorities

Your Profile:

• You have a bachelor degree or have the same level of experience
• You have at least 3 years’ experience in technical procurement (experience in aviation is a plus)
• You are open to be on call 24/7 for one 1 week per month.
• You have excellent communication skills and you are fluent in English and Dutch/French written and oral
• You are result-oriented, quality-driven and customer oriented
• You are dynamic, stress resistant and you are a good negotiator
• You are flexible and a real team player
• You have the knowledge of an ERP system (SAP is a plus) and of MS office
